Aromatic Flavors from Vietnam. Inspired by clean and bright flavors of a traditional noodle bowl, tender top-round steak is infused with the citrusy punch of fresh lemongrass and lime. Served over a bed of delicate vermicelli noodles and hearty vegetables, this dish is the ultimate recovery meal.

Our most visually stunning dish originated from Malaysia, specifically crafted to mirror the deep blue gradients of a Mission Peak twilight. Grilled turmeric chicken skewers drizzled in a velvet-smooth peanut sauce paired with our unique jasmine rice naturally steeped in butterfly pea flowers. A visual tour de force and sophisticated flavors. <3 <3

The Herbal Soul of Thailand. A lush, aromatic masterpiece designed for the trails. We’ve balanced the rich creaminess of coconut milk with green chillies, galangal, and kaffir lime peel. Paired with high-protein tofu, crisp vegetables and fragrant jasmine rice, this curry delivers a vibrant, herbal heat that warms you from the inside out.

It started with a curiosity.
Then, it became a journey.
In my early hiking days, just getting to the top of Mission Peak was a struggle. I wasn’t fit enough yet, or I’d miss the sunrise by just a few minutes. But when I finally made it and saw those incredible colors in the sky, everything changed. I realized that if I could do this, I wanted my daughter to experience it, too.
That started a lifelong journey of taking her outdoors as much as I could. We went on many backpacking trips together, but the food was always a letdown. We really missed the taste of a home-cooked meal and the quality of real, good food.This led me to start creating my own freeze-dried meals — food that my daughter, my friends, and fellow hikers would actually love to eat.
Today, my daughter hikes Mission Peak right by my side.
Now, I want to bring that same feeling of a great meal and a great journey to you. This first line is an invitation to experience the authentic flavors of Southeast Asia to celebrate my Malaysian heritage. I made these to excite your senses and feed your curiosity, so you can enjoy a great meal no matter where your adventure takes you.

I'm a Bay Area local, and I've spent years exploring the beautiful trails all over California. Hiking and backpacking are a huge part of my life-feeding my curiosity and finding peace for the soul. From the quiet fog on the coastal bluffs to the rugged, sun-drenched paths of the high Sierras, being out in the wild is where I feel most like myself.
I’ve spent more than 20 years working in busy kitchens, learning my craft from some of the best chefs and restaurant operators in the world. Building a brand from scratch hasn't been easy, but if it were, I probably wouldn’t be doing it. I still have a lot to learn, and I’m so excited to bring you along as I grow.
This is just the beginning, and I can’t wait to see what’s next.
